Lawrence Ginocchio Aviation Scholarship
Purpose:
Named for a remarkable man whose strength of character inspired a high standard of caring in the aviation community, this scholarship recognizes those individuals who have demonstrated honesty, integrity and selflessness in their dealings with others. These individuals should possess a passion for aviation, as Larry Ginocchio did, and utilize their interest or involvement in business aviation to enhance the lives of others.

Application Submission Process and Completion Date:
Awards will be made to U.S. citizens without regard to sex, race, religion or national origin. Scholarships will be awarded in the fall of 2017 and checks will be made payable to the school. Scholarship recipients must use the funds by Dec. 31, 2018, or risk forfeit of the award.
Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students (sophomore or higher) enrolled for the academic year in an aviation-related two-year or four-year degree program at an NBAA/UAA-member institution with a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

The Lawrence Ginocchio Aviation Scholarship was created in 2001 by NBAA and the family and friends of the late Lawrence Ginocchio to honor his outstanding personal contribution to the business aviation community. Named for a remarkable man whose strength of character inspired a high standard of caring in the aviation community, this scholarship recognizes those individuals who have demonstrated honesty, integrity and selflessness in their dealings with others. These individuals should possess a passion for aviation, as Larry Ginocchio did, and have utilized their interest or involvement in business aviation to enhance the lives of others.
