Chuck Peacock Memorial Scholarship
Purpose:
Since its inception, the AEA Educational Foundation has awarded more than $1.5 million to students seeking careers in the aircraft electronics and aviation maintenance industry, as well as technicians from AEA member companies.
Eligibility:
This scholarship is offered to recognize the importance of management skills and is available to high school seniors and/or college students who plan to or are attending an accredited school in an aviation management program.
Value:
$1,000.00
The scholarship application deadline for the 2017-2018 school year has passed. Please check back in October to submit applications for the 2018-2019 school year.
Application Submission Process and Completion Date:
- A completed and signed application form
- An official transcript (or valid copy)
- Answers to both application “QUESTIONS” (below)
- One 300-word type-written “ESSAY”
- Your application must be sent, complete with your transcript, questions and essay to the AEA Educational Foundation by April 1, 2017.
- Applications received without completed information will not be considered.
- Transcripts sent separate from applications will not be accepted.
Selection Process:
Winners will be announced in March. Scholarship monies will be disbursed July.

History/Background:
Given by Wanda Peacock in memory of her late husband, Chuck Peacock. As the founder of the Aircraft Electronics Association, Peacock credited his aviation and business management skills as the cornerstones for his success in the industry.
