Purpose:
The Aero Club of New England, in an effort to assist and promote professional aviation careers, started its
scholarship program in 1984 and has awarded scholarships to men and women since 1987, totaling
more than $459,000. These scholarships are awarded based upon the applicant’s merit, performance and
demonstrated financial need
Eligibility:
Intend to pursue a professional aviation · Be a full time New England resident and a U.S. Citizen
maintenance career · Provide copy of birth certificate or passport
· Demonstrate a financial need and scholarship · Be at least 16 years of age
for the award · Use scholarship funds in one year
· Take the training at a FAA Far Part 147 compliant school in New England

Application Submission Process and Completion Date:
The applicant is solely responsible for completion of all six parts of the application and for the submission by the due date
of March 31. Use additional sheets of paper as needed. Please type, print, or write legibly in ink. Only the complete
application packages will be considered. Proof of U.S. citizenship must be provided to receive the awards.
