- Let’s use my hours from last year as an airline pilot who works a minimal schedule.
- Away from base 2475 hours for 2019 = 103 days.
- The average number of hours I am away in a year = 6.78.
- Normally I work 15 days a month max.
- 7 days in a row off every month.
- Normally most work 16 to 18 days a month.
- Commuting.

I think given how volatile things are with the Covid19 that the advice should have been get that masters degree, pilots need something to fall back on.
