Diane Endres Ballweg Scholarship
Purpose:
This scholarship is given to a woman over 30 who wants to learn to fly or who already has a pilot’s certificate (private, sport or recreational) and wants to pursue an advanced certificate or rating, such as the Instrument or Commercial certificate. The scholarship award will be paid directly to the flight school to be applied to the recipient’s account.

Applications are due in by mid November in order to be considered for the following year, awarded at the annual Women in Aviation Conference.
Selection Process:
All scholarships, unless otherwise noted, will be awarded during the Annual International Women in Aviation Conference.

History/Background:
Diane Endres Ballweg is a business owner and philanthropist, who learned how to fly later in life. This scholarship is named for her and designed to encourage women to continuously learn throughout life, specifically about flight.
